  1. OMG with socks on ? Not even De Feet ! Can you raise the bar sweetie
  2. Sadly by 2015 there will be only 1 pro team left in MTbiking thanks to this witch hunt . So we can look forward to watching a season of bikers racing that have to check in their personalities when they sign their contracts. Very sad state of affairs for mountain biking. Starting to look a lot like the road ! Regardless of Brandon's faults, mistakes or whatever at least FedGroup Itec was interesting. Riders with character. Individuals, not clones.
  3. If women were my style she be first on my list
  4. Clearly you haven't followed the story.
  5. It seems there are many dim witted ignorant people that as usual make `hubbers look nothing more than bored wannabe's that are never gonna be ! Get the facts straight ! Stewart applied for the `TUE before the use of Nebido. The treatment was telephonically approved by Annique Coetzee. Stewart sent numerous emails thereafter confirming the telephone conversation, and submitting the endocrinologist reports and required documents as per the WADA code. To none of these emails did Coetzee refute having given telephonic approval or that the submissions were insufficient or incorrect. FYI - Nebido has to administered over a period of 6months before T levels will improve to a normal level. Google it ! So seriously, how would he benefit from 1 or 2 injections. Furthermore with a washout period of 28 weeks Stewart would have to be a complete and utter fool to undergo such treatment with SAIDS testing him a minimum of twice a month , and 1 month before the Epic where testing occurs almost daily. Any one who believes this to be out right cheating I would categorise as having impaired intelligence ! The concerning part is the manner in which SAIDS handled this issue. Stewart informed them of his treatment and declared the use on over 20 dope control forms from Feb . There was no need to even test for the substance , he told them he had received the treatment . Stewart corresponded directly with Faghmy Galant (GM) and Khalid Galant (CEO) and Nic Kock (legal council ) of SAIDS in April requesting guidance given the fact that further to permission being granted by SAIDS, Switzerland had declined . To hide their irrefutable error and incompetence SAIDS had to find `Stewart guilty to save face . Do yourselves a favour and speak to people in the know before banging out crap as most of you keyboard ninjas tend to do.
  6. Gotta love the MK/KE combination ... The Epic just got real !! @FedGroupItec are going to be the ones to watch. With Rabie & Mac for backup .... Could the strategy be better ?!
  7. Maybe it's just nice to have a team instead of rolling solo ?
  8. I hear you ... it has been kinda fun debating who is a nicer guy ;-)... which actually has nothing to do with the whole incident... Lets talk about who is gonna win Sani 2 C .... Maybe Brandon and Max ... if Brandon doesn't switch Max off his bike (he he he ... just kidding!)
  9. Oh come on ... so C for serious ! Brandon admitted that what happened out on the course was wrong from both sides ... we should all be able to laugh at our mistakes ??
  10. Agreed on the blog ... didnt see any whinging tho. As for the face book group ... that was seriously funny and Im sure just a joke - It really wasnt that bigger deal ... thats the point. The whole thing has been blown WWWWAAAAYYYYY out of proportion. But thats what happens when the punishment doesnt fit the crime like Sean Badenhorst pointed out .... Roel Paulison / Christophe Sauser at World Marathon Champs ... that incident didnt attract punishment as harsh as DQ and that incident was witnessed by thousands of spectators and was live on Eurosport!!
  11. There are alot of comments going backwards and forwards about who is the nicer person ... I assume these comments are based on the writer knowing both Kevin and Brandon ??
  12. precisely...take it up with the person afterwards ... specially if you were both in the wrong. That has always been the way of the mountain bikers. Any issues in the past were resolved like men ! Having raced for 14 yrs I speak from experience.
  13. Is this where MTB is going to ? .... A bit mellodramatic wouldn't you say ? "An eye for an eye"? This is certainly not a new concept nor has MTBiking been exempt from this scenario in the past. The only new aspect in the Barberton showdown is the tittle tale protest and the questionable judgement shown by the presiding officials. DQ for retaliation ?? Food for thought ... MTN rider vs DCM rider ...DCM 1 2 and 3.... No MTN rider on the podium.... MTN new sponsor of the series ... ?? How partial was the decision?
