Was interesting to see in the XCO WC yesterday there were a a lot of falls in the wet & pretty much everyone who went down knocked brakes, handlebars, saddles etc skew but were able to hit them back into place very easily. Makes me think I'm tightening my controls a bit tight?. I think it's time to buy my own torque wrench

Yip. I had a pivot bolt fall out first ride after a major service. Borrowed a torque wrench & corrected everything myself

I queried the shuttle service on their FB page & was told to go book it on the entry portal which I did. All worked 100% on my side. I then went & broke my wrist a few weeks ago. I gave them a call to see what my options were & they offered me a full refund. I have to say I have been most impressed. I hope you get sorted out Kurt. It's a cool race. Not to be missed. I'm sorry I won't be there this year

I would say the Thule Proride on the roof. Can carry 4 bikes no problem without them touching each other. Quite expensive though

Anyone know of someone wanting an entry for the GrandFondo on Sat. I fractured my wrist last Sat so won't be riding anymore. I'm gutted I won't be riding. Last year I was sick leading up to the race & only managed to finish 3 min before the cutoff collecting my longest day beer from BigJohn. Was hoping for 8 hours this year

Yes. I've joined the club. I haven't ridden at the bike park. It looks like it is just the xco track but they do outrides every weekend & I've done a few different ones. You either pay for a day board or sign up for a year which is what I did. Charles also managed to fix my mates freehub on his Stumpy late on a Saturday afternoon just before the Enduro Nationals. 10/10 I'm glad I found them!

I'm very keen to do it but it's also far from Joburg. Also a busy time of the year with Race to the Sun, CTCT, The Berg 100, Maluti D90 & Swartberg 100. I might not be married anymore by the end of April

It does include 2 nights tented accommodation & meals. It probably could be a bit cheaper but it is quite a niche event so there are fewer riders to cover costs
