  1. Thanks Splat, will check it out.
  2. I bought a tub of this about a month back and I have been training on this. I struggle with the flavour (passion fruit) as well as the way it goes down. Almost has a 'rich' taste to it with a weird texture. Could it be the Vitargo in the product? I was wondering if anyone else has used this product and what your thoughts are??? Good / Bad / McAverage. I have seen excellent write ups about it (in the advertising game myself so I know all about advertorials and endorsements so could just be guys getting paid to do this).
  3. I was reading the thread on 'Bonking - the bad kind' and was wondering what food / snacks / bars / gels etc. you would not leave home without when doing a training ride or race and which products you swear by.
  4. Hey Mark, I would suggest you focus on stretching your hamstrings as this could be causing come of your discomfort. Your hamstring has 3 heads so you will need to do the typical hamstring stretch (when sitting on your bum) and try touch your toes, changing the position of your foot i.e. toes poiting up, toes poiting to the left, toes poiting to the right. Cycling will strengthen your hamstrings and if not stretched out will pull on your SI joints causing the discomfort in the lower back. Also try some core strengthening exercising as well as exercises for your stabaliser muscles. Hope this helps - has helped me
  5. Does anyone use PVM products? Octane or Octane Xtra?
  6. My Gobi XM hasn't given me any problems (touch wood). I am loving the saddle. Would recommend it to anyone!
  7. The golden rule: always 'push a pony' before heading off to a race!!!
