Sunrise stop on the morning ride today

Oribi Gorge

There were a number of hairpins you can't see from the photo and there are 'speed bumps' to divert the water flow off the road so I had to slow for them otherwise it would have been OTB or smashed rims

On the way down into the gorge on one of two stops to cool off the brakes, 400m in 2km, I made it back up as well with a lot of struggling and burning legs (iPhone 6)

The local farm dog followed me for 15km at average of 20km/h and dragged me up all the hills before I dropped him off to finish my ride (iPhone 6)

As promised, built up completely now with new XT 11 speed and some new tyres.

This arrived yesterday, building it up on a 'new to me' carbon frame in a bit. Pics to follow

I need to get my black beaut out for a ride to get a decent shot of it....work needs rest up a bit first though
