  1. Hi cbrunsdon Thanks for the reply . The bike has just come from a services . I told them my situation and after looking at it , they told me that the parts inside are worn. Hence the query if they are repairable. They are not sure but they don't think that is repairable. I think that's its most probably because its an old type of shifter. Thanks again Regards

  4. Hi guys and gals Thought i would share my bike with you all . Seeing that i cant afford a new one , i decided to respray it . With lots of flatting down ,preping ,spraypaint in the lungs and new stickers being made, this is the outcome . The red and white pin stripes are reflective. Hopefully this will help with those early morning rides. Nothing major but looks fresh enough to last another few years. Its an Alum. frame tcr , altegra components, carbon fibre fork Paint scheme similar to the 2007 model. Just got a few items to sort out and she will be good to go for a ride.
  5. Hi Guys Thanks for the info/tips. Im going to look further into my query. These have been a good set of wheels and would like to keep them. Hope they last another 18000km Chow 4 now.
  6. Hi Guys I have a set of shimano WHR535 wheels that have have been awesome. They have done very high milage but have been serviced on a regular intervals. Recently i wanted to get a new set of hubs for them and was told that shimano dont make them any more. The reason for wanting new ones is because the hubs even though they have been serviced , no longer run smoothley any more. Would it be possible to change them to sealed bearing type hubs or would this be a total waste of time ?. Are there any other similar type hubs that i might be able to replace these with ? Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Tony
