  1. Live, ride and Love PE (born EL via London 11yrs). Not stacked for stuff to do for kids indoors but loads of outdoor things for the family to do. And lower chance of being shot or hijacked as an added bonus just saying. And the traffic don't even get me started on that, work in 15mins nightmare ????
  2. Also keen on the Pyga Stage, the frame is R 38 900 and a GX 12 complete built is R65000. My LBS said that it's a heavy but well built frame
  3. outoftowner - I actually do prefer that hardtail feel, really on the fence at the moment. Spoke to the Swift guys today, they officially close up shop at the end month, so no local support for now until the new holding company of Swift appoints a distributor and that's if anyone wants to take it on. Warranty frame related issues will get logged online via the Swift website. The question I'm asking myself is if I buy a second hand frame/ bike I have no manufacturers warranty. So I have to go the insurance root SO is it worth a gamble and if the **** hits the frame.....insurance "just a thought"
  4. So best thing to do is give them a call and find what support their will be. Thanks again all for your help gents.
  5. Thanks gents I love the look of the frame, keen on the black with blue detailing. PRICE Good GP.C - A concern regarding the 4 broken frames and definitely food for thought. I'll follow up with Swift in Cape Town, as it's definitely a concern if their operations are closing down and I do have an issue with the frame, where do I go??. Maybe if anyone else has any insight regarding Swift"s operations please post Thanks again gents
  6. Fellow Hubbers I need some help. Swift Evil Twin "just the frame - New", always loved the frame and I now I have the opportunity to buy it. Good buy, Ok buy or Bad buy???? I currently ride an 2015 Epic Comp. You don't see any of these frames in my part of SA "port elizabeth". So I can't ask any of the local guys for some feedback. Please help, any input would help. Thanks in advance guys & gals.
  7. I'm with BaGearA on this one. It's getting ridiculous 50T at the rear. Something new to sell to us upgrade obsessed cyclists. If you think you need a 50T at the back stick too a 2-10/11 setup, far cheaper in the long run save the cash for a worthwhile upgrade and if you're buying it because it looks the ducks nuts "which it does" then hey enjoy. Here's getting to top before you. ???? (11-40 / 34T)
  8. Hi, had the same issue with my New Reba after 6 or 7 weeks. According to my local bike shop it is a common problem something to do with the inner seals and air escaping to the bottom chamber of the fork which then interns sucks the fork down and that's why the fork will not return to the 100mm travel. My LBS replaced the inner seals but no joy. So under a warranty claim it went back to Cape Cycle Systems in Cape Town for a full strip down and they replaced all the inners & seals. No issues since.
