  1. Im not familiar with the DJ4's but I have the JDPro's and you can stiffen them up by increasing the air pressure. On my forks this is done in the top of the right fork leg. Adjusting the preload is a waste of time (it does nothing). Damping is adjusted internally and works very well. If you increase the air pressure you need to do damping as well to avoid top out. Like I said Im not familiar with your forks but thats how it works with mine.
  2. check out www.nsrmtb.co.za as they have feature a few spots in KZN. Giba, Cascades, and worlds view are probably the most popular.
  3. We just did a little feature on Matt Smiths custom Boot'r. Here is a teaser pic... http://nsrmtb.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/bootr3.jpg And you can see the full write up here - http://www.nsrmtb.co.za/matt-smiths-bootr/#more-2098
  4. Nice bike. Take the brake off and run strap pedals and it will be perfect. Were those pics take at Cyclefontain(spelling)?
  5. I laugh every time I see someone look at a downhill bike and then ask "Does it have a lockout?" Ive heard it 3 times in the last 2 months.
  6. Hey guys, Ronelle was kind enough to let us use some of her pics in our update on the George DH race. We have posted it up on our site so if you have a moment check it out. http://www.nsrmtb.co.za/mtn-national-dh-series-george/
  7. Kind of like the ANC. They freed South Africa from Apartheid so now we should just let them steal, corrupt, commit fraud, and generally do as they please?
  8. Thats exactly why. People from all over the world by from CRC which is why they move massive volumes compared to our local distro.
  9. I dont think it is acceptable in any way the the guy smacked this woman in the face. Bt at the same time if some stranger came up to me and said "where are your f**king lights?" Id want to smack them too. If she was genuinely concerned, and not just out to make a point I think a more civil approach would have been a lot better received by the MTB riders.
  10. You need to knock the star nut down further and then chop off the required amount. If you are good with a hacksaw then you can trim it yourself, otherwise take it to a bike shop and they will do it.
  11. Im selling a really nice dual suspension if you still looking. Here is the link - https://www.bikehub.co.za/forum_posts.asp?TID=43223
