  2. Why are most SS frames hardtail do not see that many dual suspension SS
  3. As for frame types, do SS chains have a specific tension requirement? Would imagine the tension will be quite high and could this be a problem with a dual suspension frame where the wheel and stays move a few inches up and down possibly affecting the chain tension?

  7. I would like to enquire regarding the single speed mountain bike ideal. Is there a preferred frame format which could be used or avoided. One that is popular within the single speed groups and one that would be not so popular. As an example fully rigid, hardtail or dual suspension. Naturally it could be understood that rigid would be the tougher type and dual suspension the softer type.
  8. Its good to know how long the hill or how many hills are still to come so you dont over exert yourself to early i.e. Check the route profile and make notes or write on your arm. And remember, "he who spins, wins"
