Bush tunnel, Simonsberg Conservancy mtb trails. First time there. Had a jol and was surprised at the large amount of single track options! Will definitely be going back.
Running my lightest setup so far with a WTB Bronson 2.3 up front and a WTB wolverine 2.2 on the back. They are going for their first test in roughly an hour from now. I do however suspect that I'll be changing the Bronson to the rear and throwing my ibex on the front once the trails start getting wet.
Can't wait to get these bad boys on my ride! Big thanks to Al from Helderberg Cycles, Bibi, Trail-er-park and Michael at Gravity Imports for all the help. You guys rock! If all goes well I'll be testing my upgrades out this weekend. Can't wait!
I'm currently running with a minion 3c dhf 2.5 front and my stock bontrager xr3 2.2 on the back. The minion has been amazing and I couldn't ask for better but I do have an onza ibex dh 2.4 on standbye for when the minion is spent. My it's been fun having the bontrager on the back as I like being able to hang the back out around corners but I'm looking to change to a purgatory. Anyone have an opinion on the purgatory as a rear tyre?
