  8. Went to go and help mark the new Gauteng DH course this morning and its going to be sweet. Basic details: - About a 3min winning time (Maybe more) - Very rocky in places but overall will have flow - Most of the track is in place (walking path) - Should be compelete by the end of Dec - Starts at the top of Krugersdorp hill and ends next to the Casino I will keep you posed and hopfully some pics soon. DH getting big in GP we have 65 active racers! and with Mankele and this course things are only going to get hotter. Big up Francois and the other guys.

  11. "Which LBS is best one for Freeride/DH in Gp ?- I am in Edenvale /Kempton - here BMX Road are more the LBS story" Try Mikes Bikes 011 888 8868 he know his stuff but is still limited by the importers.
  12. I would still go for a Vanilla but the 32 which has 140mm travel which is 10mm more than the Recon but you get the best fork money can buy.
  13. its not the effect on small bumps that my opinion is based on, i feel that the simpler the fork the less to go wrong. But i guess the final decision is based on the type of riding you are doing and how much time you want to fork to be in the shop. Another thing is without compression damping you get less stickiness.
  14. Fox Vanilla R by 2 miles IMO the simpler a long travel fork the better. I never understood why you need a lockout on a 160MM fork...
