Agree the bridge congestion was pathetic. I saw a number of people taking their shoes off to cross through the river next to the bridge. (Mmmm the jukskei can surely not have the cleanest water to cross...) I managed to get to my starting group dripping in sweat just before the gun, but hell first time I crossed the starting line already in my heart rate zone!!
