  1. Lance just didn't have the balls to pull it off!!
  2. I was recommended by Columbus to order through Ceeway in the UK. https://www.framebuilding.com/ Hoping for the rand to recover so I can finalise my order.
  3. Hey Kalahari Vegmot, Sorry to hear about your terrible story! Came across this, though it might be something you could try in the future, It is supposed to be an open source design, so you could get hold of the guy and ask for the models/drawings and have it made up locally. https://www.chansunglee.com/zenos
  4. Any chance of a deal on this one? https://www.evobikes.co.za/components/groupsets/xt-m8100-12-speed-upgrade-kit-with-sunrace-11-51t-sh-cassette-and-kmc-12spd-chain.html
  5. Please Oom, time for me to move on from 10spd! haha https://www.cwcycles.co.za/product/shimano-slx-m7100sunrace-12spd-upgrade-kit
  6. You can try Link Engineering in Salt River. They have welded some motor bike crank casings and swing arms for me before. Both came out quite nicely! If there aren't any clearance issues maybe ask them to put a little gusset in to strengthen it. Running perpendicular to the crack, blending into the bearing flange and the cross member.
  7. Have a look at Specialized (Freewheel Cycology) Sale: https://freewheel.co.za/collections/clearance/products/propero-3
  8. Around the pot 100miler in Swellendam! https://www.bikehub.co.za/events/event/3392-around-the-pot-100miler/
  9. You need to just make that column a bit wider, had the same thing!
  10. Oh flip, hope your mate is ok! I went into the crash on my front wheel, knew it wasn't going to end well! Also cracked my frame and buckled both wheels, luckily landed in the gravel though so came out with minor scrapes and bruises. Hope the tandem guys are alright, think they might be out for awhile though!
  11. I was caught up in that crash, single bike took out a tandems front wheel. I was the second bike into the pile, came out relatively unscathed. The one guy from the tandem was not looking great. I managed to limp home, wasn't fun though! I was the OTB guy haha
  12. Hey Americo, I do a lot of printing for work, mostly prototyping. I do some functional parts, but they do have a fairly short life span. If you want to try match the strength of your current injection moulded part you need to beef your part up by increasing wall thicknesses. The issue is the tabs for the gopro mount, put the biggest possible radius at the bottom. Choose your material and printer carefully they aren't all created equal. If i was doing it I would print to check sizing and fit, and then get it cut on a CNC from HDPE or Aluminum. Cheapest option is to stick a bit of rubber or foam in your current casing, but wheres the fun in that! Hahaha
  13. What stem do you have? Bolt spacing on most of them is different!
  14. Got 40cm Ritchey carbon bars through East City Cycles Also got some 40cm Deda Alu bars through CWC
  15. Anyone know if the 78km would be suitable for a gravel bike?
