Giant had a Gobi with Race face comps, SPD pedals, black FOX RLC shock with a FOX sticker coming off the one side. Specialized, had a scratched top tubes, Crank brothers, black Rock Shock Reba with lock out, and a new Mavic SL rim on the front, Sella saddle

Hi guys, FYI: Saturday morning before start of Dusi my riding partners' and my Bike where stolen out of a Garage in Umhlanga Rock. 1. 20" Giant Anthem Zero '08, fulcrum zeros, XO grip shifts, red silver, Conti's 2. Med. Specialized Epic, Mavic SL's, XO grips shifts, black red, Maxxis IF you see these bikes for sale report it please, or see any new Hubbers selling be aware of it. Thanks goodness for insurance, but hopefully we can replace what we had. Later G

tried to save weight on wifes bike, KCNC bars, post etc, and my Mavic SL's wheels, got to about 1.2-1.3kg saving. Its very hard to shed Kg's with out shedding the cash!

I ride Conti 2.2 back 2.4 front, the 2.4 in the front is awesome for grip, no washing out!! very good on grip all round, been thru 3 back tyres this year with cuts, conti's are very expensive, but i prefer the grip. Maxxis last longer abit cheaper

There is a thing call common sense and consideration, If I want to use an MP3 player I do, but in one ear, loud enough to enjoy and soft enough to hear everything around me! .......Once you have taking your bike thru the mud at Sabie you can only have SRAM RD it changes thru anything.....Gripshift is heaps better, my opinion less working parts on a MTB the better....i was always cleaning or fixing something on the triggers...... Enjoy your new Bike
