  1. I've done the double twice for charity, this is my third, if you have your timing chip on the second loop you won't get a time for the first, we starting at 5:35am, if we not back in 3hrs they won't let us off for the seond, they getting strict on it. Try your luck but you might be pulled off the course on the second loop happened last year.
  2. @ ETXEONDO Thanks alot for the great service in getting me the bids, very impressed so far will test out this weekend and let you know! Etxeondo great service!! well done
  3. it will look like i'm wearing a nappy! hahaha doing the double 94.7 for Charity so need a good pair!
  4. Time to buy new Bibs! Ok, my Adidas are now 'end of life'.....need some 'good' Bibs around the R1-1.5k mark Any suggestions?
  5. What did they charge you for import duty?
  6. what you guys are doing is going to make MTB racing better!! Well done keep it up!!!
  7. I heard that ROAG is looking at getting in Gauteng and other areas, its still new and growing fast, I rode Karkloof and Sani so get a seeding for H2H, and believe me the batch starts are heaps better than the Gauteng Mass Bottleneck Brawls, id rather start at the back of a batched race than the back of a Mass start!
  8. XT cassette +3000km easy, if u ride properly and clean bike well, chain 1500km i'd say 2-3 chains for 1 cassette
  9. Checking at LBS, rear pivot bots loose (ish) crank arm a little loose and bolts. Rode on Saturday only left hand side now "clicking" will have to find something else to tighten!
  10. Mary-Anns pitted dates, i eat them when i ride, works for me, worked for her on the day, she rode with 2l camelbak and and two bottles of carb drink, we didn't stop at one of the water points
  11. scotty...you having more fun believe me!!
  12. Just a Note: Last year I was ready for a 2:30 ride (with luck on my side) picked up and injury from a MTB race two weeks before, so road with the wife in ZZ batch or something like, it was her first ride over 75km and I helped her thru it etc. Point is what a great experience, fun, great support alone the way, priceless. we all love to ride, so enjoy it guys! sometimes take a step back from the racing and see the fun at the back!
  13. I've had my new Bike for 2 weeks now, and noticed it on the first ride under load on the pedal, second ride same, will have to check it after seeing this post! hope its just loose cleats!
