Thanks. I did post it in the stolen bikes section... How do I get it on the stolen bikes registry?

My bike as described in the subject line was stolen today in front of Parow police station. I was in the process of selling the bike. The guy test rode it and just rode off and disappeared. They description of the guy: Black slender man. 25-30 years in age. Goes by the name of Daniel. Works with a guys called Nelson. I see in another forum on scams alert on the job, that they are running a scam. If anyone sees or hears anything, please let me know. There are not a lot of these bikes around, so I don't know whether that increases or decreases the chances of finding it. TThanks

I was caught by Nelson today. Exactly the same story. Couldn't meet me. Cousin called Daniel came to look and test drove. And then just drove off. Disappeared around a corner. They sound central African. I had the deal go down in front of the police station in Parow. These people are not afraid. And so I'm minus a bike. Commencal Super 4 Team. White bike. I feel so stupid. I always hear these stories and now it's happened to me. Funny thing is that Nelson keeps using this number and has communicated with me on whatsapp afterwards. But he doesn't answer his phone at all.

Tasty bike man. One day when I'm an adult(aka earn a lot of money) I will own a pimped-out Zaskar like this.

Does anybody know what happened to the Marin dealers in SA? I have been looking for a derailleurhanger for my bike, but no-one knows how or where to get one. Apparently Marin doesn't have agents in SA anymore.jancokotze2009-07-03 02:36:09

Yeah, these bikes that I am looking to import is a product by an American company named Motobecane. The French company got bankrupt and them bacame MBK under the ownership of Yamaha. So these have nothing to do with the french Motobecane. jancokotze2009-06-17 07:28:06

If anybody knows anything about the Motobecane bike brand, I would be gald if you guys would share your knowledge with me. I am looking to import very high spec MTB's and roadbikes at a very good price - almost unbelievable.
