  1. Yes. Love it but it sucks. No rims, tires - new or second hand.
  2. Not to sure about bike hire but there is a cycle shop in Howick that can help with spares and services. Howick Cycles
  3. The mountain is the only place an ebike belongs. Straight to the berg with a hiking bag and the location of a dry cave, you wouldn't see me for days.
  4. Pyga has a shop at Yard 41 on the Karkloof Rd. Have a chat to the guys and im sure they would let you test one on your favorite trails. Best to test a bike over the terrain you normally ride.
  5. Someone has been telling you porky pies, unless your mate is talking about the HA on his motorised wheelchair.
  6. Ran into a chap riding one of these up in Howick- amazing bike, would be well suited to KK trails.
  7. Gopro black + would be a great way to start- good quality and frame rate. The camera bounces a hell of a lot when when riding so a higher frame rate helps smooth things out- also looks good in slowmo. I got the biggest shock of my life when i tried to edit a short vid on my pc- it took almost 30 mins to convert the clip- gopro recommend an i7 for editing which seems pretty crazy.
  8. In my op send as much money as you can on suspension and get a Deore groupset for the moment until you can upgrade. You will notice a much bigger difference between a Pike / Fox 32 and a xt / deore setup. Good luck with the build mate- a pic of the end result would be sweet. Once you are done come christen it in the Karkloof where a bike like that belongs
  9. Second the Evil Uprising. What a machine!
  10. A very well done to all the riders especially Chris Keit on his first enduro- 20th overall is bloody good, Less Pyga riders in the pics i see- well done to Patrick for his bikes dominating on home soil. Wish i was there, see you all at St ives for round 2. Im sure Dwayne Arpin will make us proud with the trails he has built.
