Have scouted the market for a while now in search of something between a watch that tells me when to eat, sleep, urinate and text my girlfriend and a 10m water resistant casio wrist calculator - therefore have been referred to the TomTom. I guess the TomTom is still too new and under-developed ito multisport capabilities...

    Terry, Through the last week or three of this wetsuit rental struggle, I have reached numerous dead ends. The dead ends? Well, every contact and friend I have asked has given me your contact as first and last advice. The problem that I am sitting with is multi-dimensional. I am a beginner "road-triathlete". Hence, for an event like ITU Cape Town, the R950 entry fee and R650 wetsuit rental are not the only concomitant fees. Road bike rental? Decent road running shoes? Pitching with trail running shoes and a mountain bike would be out of the question for me. Thus, I am investigating my options as to ways to prevent an accumulative R3000 event fee for something like ITU. Yes, I do consider buying my own pee-free suit. Yes, I do need one. But also, what cheap options are available to me at this stage to investigate road-triathlon as an addition to Xterra and similar "x-triathlons".

    Thanks, but I already spoke to Terry. They only offer rentals for periods of 0-3 weeks and plus(@R650).

    Does anybody know where one can rent a swimming wetsuit in the Cape Town area for less than R650 or 3 weeks? Or maybe a friendly owner willing to rent his? I am looking to partake in a triathlon but cannot foresee paying R650 to rent a suit I will be using for hopefully 30minutes.
