I am currently in the process of moving and have sold my bike, but I can feel the spread hitting me. I dont want to be an elephant by time I get back on the bike. What are the best ways to get rid of some of the excess weight already gained and keep it off?

I weigh 75kgs. I weigh 75kgs. If I were to have wheels built like you described above, with ultegra hubs, what sought of cost would it be?

To further complicate the matter a Merida Scultura with Ultegra 11 speed di2 is now also in the picture any advice?

That Swift is a beautiful bike but does that out-weigh Di2?

As far as I know the Ultravox comes with Easton EA 70s. The Vitus comes with Fulcrum Racing Quattro's.

Im looking at upgrading pretty soon, the two options that I have are either the SwiftCarbon Ultravox RS-1 with Ultegra 11 speed mechanical or the Vitus Vitesse Vri with Ultergra 11 speed Di2. Both will cost R36k. What would be the better buy? I wont have to pay duties on the Vitus, I will get it in via family. Thoughts please.

Another thing that's getting to me a bit is the 'bike shops' who post about 10 ads at once. I go back to look at an ad I was interested in only to have to try find which page its now on. I have no problem with shops wanting to advertise their wares as that is business, but maybe they could have their own classified section? It must suck for the guy who posts up his ad only to find it on the third page within 5 minutes

Iv experienced their service to be impeccable. I bought my bike second hand off a friend was a week old. They helped me with setup and have no problem honouring the warranty. They also then helped my wifes friends husband out with a decent deal.

Why dont you try a Swift?

If the condition of the bike is as it is stated in the ad then its not too bad of a deal. Im sure there is room for negotiation. There is always room.

I paid R36000, with full Ultegra and Easton wheels. Then a while later a saw someone selling a three month old one for R28000 here on thehub. I wanted to puke, but oh well.
