I have recently had new pads put on my road bike and they are now squealing big time. What do I do to stop this? Thanks

Its a pitty you had such a bad experience at Dunkeld. I have been using them for years and only had great service and really feel that the guys go out of their way to help. I took my wheel in on Monday to get a broken spoke repaired and told them not to rush as I only need it before the weekend. They phoned me Monday lunch time to say the wheel is ready for collection. They also helped me out big time when my road bike shifter packed up. I bought it second hand and it was already a few years old. They somehow arranged a warranty replacement and I got two new shifters no charge!! I think all bike shops drop the ball every now and again, but on balance I think Dunkeld is still a good set up.

Please please if anyone has a map of this ride please share it with us!!

I am heading down to Cape Town in December to do some serious Epic training. Was just lookin at the Grabouw area. Is it possible to ride both Oak Valley and the Groenlandberg trail in the Hottentots Holland Reserve on the same ride. In other words are they linked in some way or do you have to get in your car and drive around? Thanks

Exactly the same thing happened to me. Ripped a huge hole on the side/back of my Giordana Body Clones first time out and thought I would have to throw them away. However with nothing to loose I took them to my local taylor to ask if theres any chance he could sow them back together which he managed to do. So although they now dont look as cool they work as if they were new. Because the fabric is so stretchy, as long as you havent actually "lost" any of the fabric it can be pulled back together and stitched up. Good luck

My girlfried is 164cm tall and is considering a full suspension Trek/Gary Fisher 29er (small)as her next bike. She likes the idea of the 29er as it rolls over obstacles more easily and carries better momentum. She currently rides a Womens Specific Specialized Era 26er in size small. Do you think the 29er will work for her or will the various advantages of a 29er over a 26er by cancelled out by the compromised geometry of the small frame?
