  1. Does Racetec know that it was 107km, and not 102km as per their results? Would surely make a difference i\on the average speeds.
  2. I agree that Carnival was a killer in the wind, but my times were closer to each other I did 3h16 at Carnival and 3h07 at 94.7
  3. I agree with you Cycotic, it gets a bit nervy at speeds like that, I managed 74km/h down the hill just after turning right on the R55 going to heartbreak hill. I must admit my 87kg helps down the hill. I also start feathering the brakes at these speeds.
  4. I see Clint Hendricks and Willie Smit both got a top speed of 91.1km/h
  5. I am gonna try the two lap thing....
  6. Im seeded in C, a lot of guys in C go sub 3, stay in the front of the pack in D and you should be good for a sub3
  7. Hi guys Is a sub 3 possibble on the 103km route if I completed the Sattelite classic in 3h18? Probably will be starting in the C or D bunch
  8. HI Nordicelf 3h15 is also good going at 94.7 and not that easy to achieve, if you did 3h29 at sattelite you should be good for 3h15. My worry is if I did 3h18 at sattelite im gonna end with 3h04 at 94.7... that will be heartbreaking:(
  9. I agree, we should just finish on the tar road instead of turning left into saloon
  10. If the weather don't hold, we will have another WILRO....
  11. Hi Malduik It is just over a 1000m
  12. Does anyone have a Strava map with elevation gain on this route please? ( 106km )
  13. I can just imagine the poor guy coming in at 3h00:02, i was lucky enough to get a 2h59:59 in the 2012 cycle challenge:)
