  1. Hi Eddy, Thanks for the response, I've had the bike at "Carbon SA" and there recommendation is that the frame is replaced due to the brake position. They are prepared to fix it but will not warranty the repair knowing that it will break again.
  2. Thanks, LBS would be my next port o' call as i would have to get quotations through them. My LBS is a Silverback / Pyga agent so i'm sure they'll have more luck with Silverback than i did. Been battling to contact them directly but have managed to contact them via FB..........(not very responsive). Agree that the exact frame would be the easiest fix.
  3. As the frame is out of warranty and i wasn't the original owner either, i have to claim through my insurers. The question is what would the equivalent replacement frame be if i had to use my existing components? Or are the components not compatible with the new frame geometry? Dilemma......what to claim for?
  4. Thanks, As per Jase619 i have gone to to the Xtreme website and will get a map with options from them.
  5. Thanks Jase69............much appreciated!
  6. Plan on going to "Clarens" for a long weekend in Feb..................are there any trails in the area? or a contact for organised rides?
  7. Thanks for the feedback, as i'm looking for a 2nd hand bike in the range below i'll probably have to settle / compromise on the bike. Momsen = R25K Mareida = R21,5K
  8. Thanks for honest feedback, i'm sure i'll experience similar issues in time to come
  9. Morning Hubbers, I'm looking to upgrade from a 26er to a 29er and would appreciate some advice be it good or bad........ I have the option between: 1) 2015 Momsen Vipa XT carbon 2) 2016 Marida Ninety-Six 6000 carbon Is there a preference or are there any pit falls to look out for? Any advice would be appreciated!!
  10. Thanks Droo, They sold me two sets six months ago and now that i need to use them they are incorrect. They told me that the "R1" pads were the same but they are not......
  11. Hi There, Please help........Does anyone know where i can get a set of brake pads for the above mentioned in Gauteng? Thanks!
