Got the 305, had it replaced under warrenty 3 times, would definately go for a polar, I find the HR/training data easier to use and follow.

Have got the specialized Rib vages on my MTB dual sus, have not lost a bottle to date. Agreed one needs to buy the slightly larger diameter bottles for a super tight fit.

I always cable tie mine to the fork Have not had any problems with it(always picks up) Im sure they say that you need to use the dedicated bracket so thay can make more money. Look at all the UCI MTB pro bikes - thay all cable tied on to the forks!!

All I can say is yes, ive ridden XT wheels for ages and they are unblievable, and for that price its a steal. I say go for it, and keep your other wheels as training/spare wheels as they are still good wheels!!!!
