Am I correct in saying that your built up wheels weight the same as Shimano XTR wheelset? I am thinking of new tyres to cut weight - currently riding Maxxis crossmark/monorail??? What are light strong tyres? Need to get my S-works stumpy closer to 10.5?? Already have the XTR crank set.

Is the 85km MTB race any good? I am assuming muddy coditions but is it difficult for a gouy would has been doing 40km-55km races?? Have entered but a bit afraid of the distace?

I have the exact same problem - KNC & A2Z Adapter were supposed to work with a 160mm rotor, I can confirm that it does not work. Adapter and 180mm rotor the only way to solve the problem! On my way now to buy a 180mm XTR Rotor (R600) eish.... You also cannot seem to get postmount XTR break system from Shimano, you have to wait 6 weeks!!! sharkysa2009-06-05 04:28:00

Could someone please help. I have a specialized stumpy with future fork, which is a post mount. I bought shimano XTR front brakes (160mm rotar) which is an international set up. Can I use an adapter on this 160mm rotar to convert international to post mount? Any clue where to get the correct adapter? Bike shops not very helpful.... Thx
