Do you really need to carb load (USN) before a race or is there other options to choose from?

This is my new Silverback Kansas 2009 Took delivery last week Wednesday done 97km so far. Awsome bike just the handelbar tape could have been black (Should've asked for Black. Any-one else with a Silverback Kansas? What do you think?

Will do so. Hope your first ride is awsome!!! My first carbon aswell. BIG difference previous bike a raleigh RC2000-9. So from that to this is a big change for me done about 73km now from collection, first race on it will be at the Fountains Cycle Race in Benoni 96km, quite flat so hope to do in resonable time ,3h00 or so.

R21 500-00 did not really need anything else.
