That's makes sense. I decided on buying the mtb because of its versatility. An mtb is more robust than a road bike. Since I'm only starting out, I was thinking of only riding on Sundays mornings for now and increasing my exercise times and days as we go. My Saturdays are full of commitments. When do you guys ride? And where?

Hi y'all! Names Rook. I'm new to cycling so I'm bursting with (simple) questions. I have yet to a bike, gear and clothes. A total noob! I'm also looking to a cycling club in my area. My plan is to start with road cycling and then mountain biking.. I am still deciding whether I should invest in a road bike or just buy a mountain bike and ride it on the road.
