Looking at launching into a heart rate monitor and looking seriously at two - RS300X and RS400... Amongst others, the RS400 comes with the ProTrainer software and the related jazz - giving a better breakdown of sessions whilst the RS300 just uses personaltrainer.com... Anyone used either or both? I'd give myself about a 6/10 for techno-yuppie geek...

Generally Polar quotes a week to do it, but its normally done within 4 or 5 days. If you're in Joburg, the Sweat Shop in Dunkeld normally gets it back by Thursday of each week, with no charge to send it in. You're looking at R100 to change the battery. Otherwise speak to Polar directly- you need an appointment though but then they'll probably do it whilst you wait.
