Rule 2.1.4 reads that a marker board (300x600mm) should be placed 30m before an intersection, at the intersection and 30m after the intersection. Why is this so difficult for race organizers to understand. There are always riders exploring the countryside during a race due to bad or non-existent marking. It is time that riders start demanding better route marking at marathon / enduro events.

Because he (team management) knows he can't get podium against the other pro riders. It's like me entering the fun ride and brag when I win it.

Knysna Oyster Festival: After watching some really hot racing among the top riders all along the route on the 80km distance it is somewhat shocking to see this PROFESSIONAL rider just managing to come in first before a 16 year old school boy on the 50km distance after sitting in his wheel every time I've seen them during the race. Where has the professionalism gone?
