  1. Whats with these producers on ss8? only three 5* sectors in the race - all three times they cut to ads on the critical sectors

  5. So much negativity... We're talking about an event in its first year - its bound to have a few teething problems. I realise that the organisers aren't first timers, but in my time in SA, I've learned that if a taxi wants to get through a roadblock, he'll get through. I think the organisers should be commended on putting the safety of the riders first. Don't you think the egg on their faces could have been far worse if a cyclist had been injured by a car on the route? Everyone in this thread has criticised CSA and the event for stopping the race when, in the end, it was their decision(and not an easy one based on your responses) to make in teh first place. Stages of tours are occasionally neutralized if the organizers deem the conditions to be unsafe for the riders - IT HAPPENS!!! My advice, deal with it.
  6. technology has come a long way and we've seen inventions like PVR's and even remote controls. build a bridge man! change the channel or learn to live and let live. I sold Pierce a s-works a few years ago and let me tell you, he's more of a cyclist than you'll ever be. I mean, if you're blogging about an advert...... come on man, need I go on?

I work in retail; and have had this problem come up before., in our case, the customer had no proof that the product was bought in our store, ie, no receipt. he then demanded we swop the item at our own expense. when i explained to him that we could not exchange an item without proof of purchase (pretty standard practice in any retail environment) he persisted that we swop it. now i'm not saying it was your fault the clamp broke and i'm not saying it was theirs. i'm just saying that i am a loyal customer of cyclelab and have never had ANY bad service from Northgate Island. could it have been a misunderstanding? why can't we all get along?
