I would also guess that lifetime warranty applies more to manufacturing defect as apposed to wear and tear. If there is a failure due to manufacturing defect and it can be proved there is no reason why they should not honour the warranty irrespective of the age of the bike. The norm however is that warranty only applies to the original purchaser.

It seems to be a common combination to run Conti Mountain King with a Race King. My question is which do you run on the back and which do you run on the front? I would think the Mountain King on the front for good grip in the corners and the Race King on the back for lower rolling resistance. I have however seen some guys running them in the reverse. Anyone got any views on this one.
