Looks like it will be a nice build. Don't be scared of bigger gears, you will be amazed by what you can actually use when your riding style adapts to a single speed.

This is my old Specialized Singlecross. It's a Cyclocross frame but a single speed version. Nice and versatile. The pics show it in "off-road" trim and "road trim". Love this old girl.

In trim "fast" mode????

Yup it is kinda flat. Gonna try that setup for 94.7 this year- will suffer on the hills but hopefully not get dropped on the flats

In this image it's a 42/16 but typically I'll run 52/16.

Step one of the Cyclocross initiative.....get some bigger rubber???? Next is a gearing change then best I get the legs in shape????
