  1. I don't think there would be any complaints if this was the situation: R100 race entry- this includes road closure, admin and waterpoints. That's it. No promises of expos or goodie bags. You pay to ride and that's it. But we pay a fortune, get all excited by adverts and promises via emails, to only get dissapointed by the registration. If there was no payment for added extras then there would be no dissapointment when we don't get them. Agreed?

    I agree 100%

  2. Sorry - thought this was a bitch about a goodie bag, my mistake.

Nice of you to concede that you were wrong on your main point though.

Don’t know so much about conceding to that point. The quality of the entire experience is going downhill.... will see in the next few years. I love the actual race itself. Awesome route but the organisers can improve on their efforts. MTN should keep a close eye on the event if they don’t want their name dragged through the mud.

  3. SOCKS? What socks? I got an empty bag, which I gave back. I was planning on getting two new water bottles at the "expo"...... nothing, nada! Even Chester Williams looked out of place.... Big disappointment! This race is fading away slowly but surely.

  4. ahhh... the fruits of the livestrong propaganda machine...

give me facts and figures. tell me exactly what he does for cancer. dont come with "he donates millions". i want to see numbers.

here are the top rated cancer charities in the states. livestrong foundation isnt even on the list

LMAO! The website link you attached in your message above is 100% correct. The Livestrong foundation does not donate millions.

What the Livestrong foundation does is create awareness about the decease. They teach people living with or without cancer the vital skills that enable them to improve their quality of life. They do that by teaching people about stress reduction, nutrition and exercise. You know that saying.... prevention is better than cure?

Livestrong is much more than just Lance Armstrong

  5. Better keep it hidden under a long sleeve shirt then or you will be ridiculled for being a LA Diciple/Worshipper.

If you are wearing your wristband for the right reason there is no reason to hide anything. Whether he doped or not, who cares.... What he does for cancer, nobody can take away from him.
