Event Name: Greyton MTB Tour When: 31 August 2019 - 1 September 2019 Where: Uitkyk School, Greyton, Western Cape Category: MTB The Greyton Tour is a non-competitive 2 day MTB stage event. The objective is to give MTBs and newcomers to multi-stage events (NOT NEWCOMERS TO MTB) the opportunity to enjoy a weekend of scenic, fun and non-competitive riding. However, make sure that you are fit as each of the two stages are approximately 50km, mostly on gravel roads (including jeep and single tracks) and that you can, and enjoy riding flowing single tracks. Event Name: Liberty Winelands Encounter When: 12 April 2019 - 14 April 2019 Where: Boschendal, Western Cape Category: MTB An unique 3 day MTB stage race, linking Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl. Registration is at Boschendal on Thursday 15h00 - 19h00 and the start at the same venue at 08h00 on 12 April 2019. The Race Village is the beautiful and luxury Lefranschhoek Hotel, on the Friday and Saturday evenings. The race finishes on Sunday 14 April at Nederburgh Wine Estate, near Paarl. Go to Event Page

Event Name: 12hrs Omi Dam When: 6 April 2019 Where: Grabouw Country Club, Western Cape Category: MTB This 12hr MTB Race, presented at the Grabouw Country Club, use to be one of the best, almost 30 years ago. The entry options are solo / individual or a team of 4 x riders. The event starts at 10h00 on Saturday and finishes at 22h00 on the same day. The entry fee includes a burger, fries and beer during lunch and fires will be lit so that participants can do a their bring and braai from 20h00 - 22h00. Campsites will be available on the cricket field and the route will run pass the tents. It is a circular route, 9.5km long with 210m of climbing, running around the Eikenhof dam. The objective is to give MTB’s and newcomers to multi-stage events (NOT NEWCOMERS TO MTB) the opportunity to enjoy a weekend of scenic, fun and non-competitive riding. However, make sure that you are fit as each of the two stages are approximately 50 km, mostly on gravel roads (including jeep and single tracks) and that you can and love riding single tracks. Event Name: Stanford MTB Tour When: 18 February 2017 - 19 February 2017 Where: Stanford Valley Guest Farm, Western Cape Category: MTB The Stanford MTB Tour is a non-competitive weekend MTB stage event, similar to the Houwhoek & Greyton MTB Tours. The objective is to give MTB’s and newcomers to multi-stage events (NOT NEWCOMERS TO MTB) the opportunity to enjoy a weekend of scenic, fun and non-competitive riding. However, make sure that you are fit as each of the two stages are approximately 45 km (max climbing per stage is 950m), on gravel roads (including jeep and single tracks) and that you love riding easy single tracks. Event Name: Liberty Winelands Encounter When: 21 April 2017 - 23 April 2017 Where: Lanzerac-, Lefranshhoek Hotels & Kleine Valleijj, Western Cape Category: MTB Liberty Winelands Encounter; the most beautiful race in SA; a three day stage race which include the historic towns of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Paarl and Wellington and the surrounding mountains. Start and Finish venues are five star venues and you can bring your spouse, friends and family with. The distances vary from 58 - 48 km per stage and the route is not too technical nor too difficult.
