  1. Thanks that puts the roscoe ahead then, seeing as the fuse retail price is actually 23 000. Also 2018 tech vs. 2016. And the extra 4k is worth it over the titan?
  2. Hi Hubbers. I'm Looking to move from a very entry level 16 kg 29er to a 650b+ in order to gain for confidence on technical descents. So far I've narrowed it down to the 2018 Trek roscoe 8, 2016 specialized fuse, and drum roll..... The 2017 titan elite (for cost purposes and functionality it makes the option list). Please see links below and advise which would be the best value for money. Trek - R 18 500 https://www.trekbikes.com/za/en_ZA/bikes/mountain-bikes/trail-mountain-bikes/roscoe/roscoe-8/p/2044600-2018/ Specialized - looking to match price of roscoe 8 https://www.specialized.com/us/en/fuse-comp-6fattie/p/107166 Titan 14 000, trying to get a better price. https://bike-addict.co.za/products/titan-elite-27-5-plus
  3. Hi guys. Not sure if this is the right forum. Anyway, any thoughts on the makeshift derailleur hanger in the image? How safe is this? Feels quite solid.
  4. Okay thanks I just posted there now
  5. Hi does anybody have any 650c wheels? I have an old quintana roo tri bike I would like to make race ready.
  6. Hi retro bunch. Does anybody have a set of 650c wheels lying around? Been looking everywhere! Can't find any. Thanx!
  7. Willing to let them go by any chance? What's your price? By the way what bike is it?
  8. A rather old one actually. Have a 90's tri bike. Cant find 650c wheels anywhere.
  9. Where can one find 650c wheels?
  10. Yea I will post it there eventually. I'm just not sure if I am quite ready yet. I guess I wanted to find out if she would be wanted first. I can email/whatsapp pics?
  11. Hi All, I have an old quintana roo volt (said to be the European version of the first triathlon bike ever - the quintana roo kilo) Year model estimated at 1994-1996. It is 7005 aluminum time trial frame. With seat post set at 80 degree angle. It is equipped with 650 c clincher wheelset, which accelerates quickly, and climbs hills with ease. Bike weighs 9.5kg. This bike comes fitted with bullhorn bars (with bar end brake levers), and syntace c2 aero bars (with bar end shifters). It has a 9 speed cassette, tiagra 2 speed front derailleur, and a shimano sora rear derailleur. The rear derailleur dropout frame was converted to fit replacement derailleur hangers for convenience. Is anyone interested in purchasing this bike?
