perhaps when it's a bit lighter? Which route are you interested to ride? I live in the Koelenhof area so it should take me aprox 15min's to get to Soneike - looking forward to your reply - I've entered my 5th argus and am in desperate need of road time.....

You know it's tough going if you have to push your bike downhill!!! It was a 15km loop so you kind of new what lied ahead the second time around....wasn't easier! I seriously need some technical training, I fell so many times, my hands are aching because of too much braking - but I'm glad I finished, didn't feel like it at the time! Pushed more than cycled, some serious, serious uphills! How did your ride go?

did my first 15km on the 1st of Aug and riding 30km on Sunday (De Grendel ride) - so anything from 20 to 30km's. Have to work on technical stuff, riding first "single track" on Sunday - very nervous! And you? Done a few rides so far?

Am also a novice and live in the Koelenhof area - please let me know if you hear of any MTB rides in your area?

I'm very interested to join your weekend riding group. I live in Stellenbosch but quite close to the Bottelary Road, so no problem to join meet up from where ever you're cycling from. Am a novice MTB'er and would like to learn how to be a better rider, so patience might be required. Please let me know if your riding group takes off.....
