    15 weeks and I raced 94.7. Long bones with screws and plates heal really quickly.

    We are talking millimetres here. 5.5mm - 7mm thats only a 2.5mm difference. Sure the derailure will have to move further, but it will make it.

    That makes no sense at all. The contact points are all on the inside of the chain. I will concede performance of front derailed will not be as good. But it will absolutely shift. It will just be slower.

    Yes but the outer width, the inner width doesn't change. Therefore it will work on any system. Even a 5 speed.

    11 speed chain will definitely work on 8 speed rings, its only the outer diameter of the chain that changes.

    Take it to a Luthier. My understanding is that most of a guitar can be fix. You need to break it pretty badly for there to be no hope.

    The more you play the easier it will get. But I really like the concept of games like rocksmith. I honestly think this speeds up your learning time immensely.
