  1. Lekker WJ! Ek het vir jou 'n pm gestuur..
  2. Is daar nog steeds geen pretorianers wat wil ry nie?
  3. Hey guys I have been mtb'ing for some time and also got a roadbike to get some miles in with the missus. I hear that you need a license. what does it entail? Is it only to race or to ride anywhere? (i can already see how much cooler mtb is - no license or red tape and if the pigs want to chase you, simply hit the single track and make a loud OINK!)
  4. Anyway. F@k vir Julius Malema, Spanje en Buycycle. I'm not feeling it anymore....
  5. Hey guys I want to replace a Crankshaft (bent in a crash). Do i need a special tool to take it off? Cheers Malduik
  6. Stewie Are you a Sram rep? Or are you just trying to poison my mind with your crazy Sram talk???
  7. All the rest LX, so i'll rather get shimmy shifters. Cheers!
  8. Shimano LX. Does it matter? (the casette size is the same)
  9. Hey Peeps I fitted a used pair of X7 shifters to a training MTB bike yesterday. when i shift it keeps on skipping one gear, i.e. 1, 3, 5 etc. I presume the shifter takes and releases too much cable with each shift. Can i adjust the shifter? (sorry to bug you guys, i've been waiting for 'Zin and the art of MTB Maintenance' for over a month from Kalahari. Apparently the WC is delaying all deliveries nationwide) Cheers Malduik
  10. Hey peeps I like to ride on Tuesday and Thursday (and some Friday) afternoons in the Pta east area (live in Erasmuskloof). I try to do about 40k's and ride out towards Delmas and sometimes to GKNR for a lap and back. I leave at around 16:00 and get back with nightfall (nowadays touch and go but luckily it's changing!). MTB presently around 22-23 average and just got a roadbike so don't know the average there. However averages are not that important, I'm more concerned with safety. Please let me know if you'd like to join. Cheers Malduik
  11. Me and all my cycle mates also got their newsletter via email this morning. Really pisses me off when my personal info gets sold off
  12. Cheers guys! Ordered Zinn's book from kalahari yesterday, even paid for it with some spare e-bucks that's been lying around. Go Freeby!
  13. Hey Peeps I service my bike myself but i'm not sure that i'm doing everything that needs doing. Is there a book / internet guide that anyone's aware of? Cheers Malduik
