  1. My cleats are going for 4 years,I think they need replacing ????
  2. First thing I’ll try is adjust the tension. I previously had bi-pedals and they had only one place to adjust the tension. Thanks to all
  3. I am very familiar with clipping in, not being able to clip out is a recent problem, hence I asked if there could be mechanical problem.
  4. Hi It happens from time to time (mostly after an uphill) that I cannot get either foot out of the pedals. (Mtb Spd cleats and double sided clip less pedals). I think the cleats can also clip out in more than one way, as in heels outwards or inwards, if that helps. Any advice as to what the problem could be ? Still working on my mechanical skills here ???? Thanks in advance
  5. So a flashing front light is the best for visibility ? I never use my light to see on the actual road but I have tested that it will work if needed.
  6. Hi Firstly, the MTB routes in our area are mainly farm roads, but it does join a tar road near the end heading into town. I currently have a taillight that works perfect, although I would like an opinion on whether there is a difference (visibility wise) regarding vertical and horizontal lights. My current front light is useful for me to see the road if need be,but I’m not sure how good it is in terms of visibility, Any recommendations on front safety lights that wont cost me one of my kidneys ? I was looking at this one : https://bike-addict.co.za/collections/blackburn/products/blackburn-central-front-smart-light Thanks in advance
  7. Hiiiii I have a 27.5 Hard Tail MTB with trail tires. The furthest I have ridden thus far was at most 7km at a time, and the local club does 30km minimum. Budget Budget Budget is a big thing,I'm a student living with my parents. My dad is very over protective and won't let me ride without him tailing me with the car. For the sake of the car I've asked to do the tar roads instead of going off road. Would road tires,or semi-slick tires be a good idea to use in the name of getting fit ? Maybe something like this ? https://www.evobikes.co.za/black-friday-sale/vittoria-terreno-zero-tnt-g-folding-gravel-tyre-700c-x-47mm.html Suggestions are more than welcome,Advice is appreciated
  8. I can vouch for the Liv brand, especially if she’s on the shorter and smaller side. The handle bar shape, the size and reach of the levers really made a difference for me. I have a 2018 Tempt 3 which is a trail bike, standard tyres have good grip on tar as well.
  9. Thank you, found her on Instagram
  10. Small town problems ...not driving 300km for sunglasses. Most sites have free refunds if it doesn’t fit.
  11. The buff is a good idea, and I haven’t heard of those glasses so I’ll give them a definite look thank you.
  12. My eyes are super sensitive,I’ll have a look at the Jawbreakers, thank you
  13. Hello I need sunglasses that Doesn't let anything in (I wear contact lenses and I have crazy allergies. A runny nose is bearable but I can't wear contact lenses when the allergic reaction is under my eyelids). Won't get all foggy when it's cold,I get hot and sweat really fast - and a lot. Will these do the job ? https://www.takealot.com/uv-protective-sport-goggles/PLID49518543 Any other recommendations are welcome
  14. Where did you ride ? I mean if it was the roads you would have been roadkill by now
