  1. As the title says... actually it has been alive for a couple of years now, thanks to the wonderful work of a few dedicated Parents of riders or Adult riders themselves. Western Cape Hosted the National Championships this past weekend at Zone7 MX Venue, here are just a few photos from all the weekends action. The season is actually coming to an end but there are still 3 races left on the calendar during the month of October so pull in at one of these venues if you are keen to give it a try especially if you use to race in the 80's and 90's or 00's there is a category for every age. Kraaifontein BMX CLUB - 6th October. Zone 7 BMX CLUB - 20th October. Overberg BMX CLUB, Hermanus - 27th October. Other bmx clubs in the Western Cape that have tracks to ride and practice on but do not host races yet as it doesnt meet certain criteria are Songo in Khayamandi, Velokhaya in Khayalitsha, Princess Vlei in Elfindale. 2. I'm a beginner at dirt jumps and recently moved to the west coast and would like to organise weekly meet ups - like progression sessions, just to ride and have fun, practicing on the pump track or small jumps, hopefully manage to get to the bigger jump lines some time soon. Anyone keen to join weekly sessions here in Darling?
  3. Are there any distributors of BMX racing bikes and parts in South Africa? I know Omnico sometimes has some bits, but does anyone else sell a complete range of bikes and spares? Rims, brakes, bars, forks, tyres, tubes, helmets, etc. Or is the market too small and everyone buys directly from overseas?
  4. The 2015 BMX National Age Group (N.A.G) Championship Series (Legs 1-3) take place at Germiston BMX Club in Delville, Gauteng, from 25-26 April. Entries for the event close at midnight tonight (Monday 20 April 2015). Click here to view the article
