Hi there Recently moved house from Southern Suburbs Cape Town to Noordhoek. I am keen to join up with some like minded people for road cycling / training rides on weekends. Due to kid commitments probably mostly Sunday early morning rides on the road (but may be some Saturdays). Would also be keen for some MTBing from time to time. Are there any groups in Noordhoek / Fish Hoek / South Peninsula or even Tokai that someone could recommend and provide content details? Key is I am after a group that starts out this side... I train to keep fit, but often also enter road races and triathlons (so also interested if there are any triathlon run and swim groups starting from the South Peninsula on weekends). NOt a beginner but need to build up fitness a little as have been off cycling for a few months with house move / work etc. Thanks very much all Deon
This morning I found a Rav X clip on saddle bag in the gutter on Silvermine Road in Noordhoek. The bag was filled with canisters, adapter, levers, tube and a multi tool. Contact me if it is yours, It weighed about 20kg, so if you sent some PR's this weekend up Ou Kaapse Weg, check your bike, your saddle bag might be missing.
So i have just spent the weekend in CT in Noordhoek and surrounds for a wedding. on saturday morning i took a drive out to boulders bay to check out the penguin's. on my way out along the M65 i saw a few jumps and then saw a few guys riding up the hill. sadly at the time i could not stop and say hi etc. but on Sunday morning i took a drive out there again to have a look at this little hidden gem. wow. well done to the guys that put the effort in. any video's of the lines out there?
