  1. I'm keen to join a road group ride, ideally on Sunday mornings, starting in or around the Southern Suburbs in Cape Town. (I'm a male, early fourties) I ride most Sunday mornings, anywhere between 70-110km distance at around 26-30km/h average pace... depending on the group and route. Can only really ride on Sunday mornings due to family obligations on Saturdays. Could be up for a shorter weekday ride when we have a bit more light going towards summer. Currently training for the CTCT in October and possibly DC in November if we can get a group together. Any suggestions or intros are most welcome. Cheers, MV
  2. Hi Hubbers! CALLING ALL LADY RIDERS!! My husband recruited me into the wonderful world of mountain biking pretty recently - Although I love hiking, Mountain Biking takes being in nature to a whole new level with a competitive edge. Im a beginner - still waiting to upgrade from my entry level Giant Revel. I would really love to set up a social biking group for women who want to ride together and meet new friends while enjoying the awesome trails in Cape Town and surrounds. Is there anyone out there that would be interested? - no fees, just fun! Guys - Tell your ladies to join the Forum! - its a bit of a sausage fest out here.

  4. Hello Guys I have made my return to the road cycling scene after about 6 years away, and boy has it changed!!!!! I use to be scared of bonking mid-ride, now I'm scared of getting stabbed for my bike, phone or even my powerade. Various cycle clubs have group rides on weekends, and that's great, but I was wondering if someone would be interested in doing n group ride in the mornings ( 3+ people ) on weekdays. I do have 2 other people who cycle with me, we average about 27km/h and do a loop that starts at Centurion golf estate down to eeufees using Botha Avenue and back to the golf estate, giving us about 30km.Obviously we could change the route to suit other riders as well. Maybe Mondays, Wednesday & Friday's or any 3 days in the week, leaving enough time to bash some km's on the weekend's. If anybody is interested please contact me, otherwise any ideas or tips would be appreciated, I honestly just want to ride my. Regards Bruere 082 330 9393 bruere@live.com
