  1. Hi I have just found this forum and see that there are indeed some recumbent riders in SA . Is there anybody who enjoys building recumbents in SA. I built my own out of frustration because I could not find any SA builders or riders. Here is a video of the bike
  2. Hi I have been looking at recumbent bikes for a long time. I am familiar with the pros and cons. I now just want one. BUT I am looking for a reasonable secondhand one and it does not matter if it's old. Or needs some care. If you know of someone who does not use his recumbent or want to sell one. The least expensive one I can get laded in SA at R23000 excluding Tax. Obviously my first recumbent should be relatively cheap as I don't really have an option to give it back or easily sell it if I don't like it. What relatively cheap means is not simple but I would think less than 50% of the new one I can buy. R10 000 or less even better. Now, I realise you may be reading this and think I am pretty poor informed. I am not. And if you have a recumbent for sale at higher rate, please forgive me. I am willing to risk buying an old bike to learn if I like it.
