Hoping someone can give some advice /feedback on the process of registering a charity/group for the upcoming Ride Joburg. I was given a link to fill out and it's asking things like how many entries do I want for the 2 distances. If I ask for say 10, but can't find people to take it up, what then? It's also asking for my details like allergies and medical conditions- but I'm not riding it.
Also how then does the actual fundraising happen. Would the rider undertake to get sponsors or would I have to try get some sponsors to motivate people riding for us?
Is there financial risk involved for the NPO to be liable for costs of anything?
It's for a NPO Parrot Rescue / Rehab based in Edenvale.
