  1. My friend and I found this bike abandoned on the jeep track above Rhodes Memorial last night (Tuesday 28th of October). We were riding to the Blockhouse when we passed this on the way up. About 45 mins later on the way down it was still there so I came and collected it with my car. It looks like the bike had been in an accident as the rear derailleur was snapped off and the saddle was torn with gravel in it. I've no idea where it came from or who left it there. If anyone knows what happened please contact me. If I don't hear anything I will drop it off at the Rondebosch Police Station. There's a distinctive sticker on it which can help with identification. 2. Hi everyone, not sure if this is the best place to post this but I came across someone trying to sell a bike today that I think was stolen. It is a very unique bike and seemed to be well-loved, hence my thoughts on why it is odd that the owner was trying to sell it. The bike is a red Cannondale R300, that has been converted to a one-by with a Shimano XT (I think M8000 Derailleur and cassette) drivetrain, and a cSixx front chainring that was inverted. It also had flat Easton bars on it. Very similar to the picture below, with a slimmer seat, black foam grips and the one-by drivetrain. Let me know if this is actually is a stolen bike.
