The new section gives you options to "like" posts/topics, whereas the old section allowed you to watch and then give you a notification if chosen.

This still in the pipeline to migrate?

The Forum software that the site runs on is moving towards a global "Like" or "Favorite" system in place of the current "Watched Content" system.

We chose to go with the new system, but keep the naming as close to what it was, i.e. "Watch Ad / Subscribe to Category"

The only real different is in managing or un-watching / un-liking content.

Instead of going to the "Watched Topics / Forums" tab under Forums you'll go to the "Content you Like" under the settings tab. For the benefit of others I've included some screenshots below.

I'm not a huge fan of the Facebook style naming of "Like". We will be streamlining this a little more to fit in with a management center for all classifieds related content. e.g. Ads you've posted, Ads you've replied on, Content you like / watch and categories subscribed to. - Soon thumbup1.gif

Mmmm.. understood.

The old way does however have the advantage of being able to go to one place to to keep track of changes to all topics you are interested in.

With the "like" system, I'd have to click each of my topics to find any replies that needs responding to

Look forward to the "management centre" update then :)
