patham Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 Shouldn't be much of an issue, biggest I've gone to is a 2.35 (Maxxis). Maybe a DH type person can tell us what big volume tyres they go for and if they need any prep work ?
Flea Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 Moved to 2.4 on the front - don't know if you can always fit a 2.4 on the back - I ride a 2.2 - depends on the frame? Suppose if you change your front tyre, you should re-measure to see your computer is right?

You'll prob be able to but check on the manufacturer's website whether your rims were designed to handle that size of tyre. Frame and fork clearance would not be an issue especially if you already got lots of clearance with your 2.1s.
