udxcob,

Are you training for another stage race?

Wine To Whales or something? :)

Dunno exactly how far, but is to Backsberg via Klapmuts and back. Pace should not be too hectic.

I have no idea...but can you please bring me a case of Backsberg Cabernet Sauvignon......

I'll leave the Camelback at home then, and take the hiking rucksack to bring your case back.

Come along guys its great fun, we are in no hurry, around 90ks or so with a beautiful climb up the back of backsberg in the forest

Got back home in one piece. 5hrs 30min in the saddle, 80km and a total of 1200 meters of climbing. 5 riders spending some time in the saddle.

Man, what a glorious way of spending a cool, crisp Saturday morning.

Was really nice (thinking back, even the 1km portage up the mountain). Thanks for putting this ride together.
