Rietvlei Dam - Pretoria / Irene (Anything going on?)

Hi Guys,

 

Does anyone know if there are still tracks at rietvlei dam in Irene?

Newest post on the topic I could find was around 2008 ish.

 

I want to go riding there after work, anyone got any details regarding

the trails, entrance fees, times etc - Will be greatly appreciated!

Kom join ons DnD groep by Irene Mall elke Donderdag aand 19:00 vir 'n night ride.

 

Waarlik van die beste roetes/ single track in PTA, koste is parkeergeld.

 

Afstand varieer tussen 25km - 35km.

Die eerste Donderdag van elke maand is die intro ride wat die korter afstand is asook 'n makliker roete.

There are two separate sections of singletrack around 12 km in total. The one winds up and down the slope near the dam wall, while the other on the fishing side,is very flat and fast flowing singletrack. Last time I was there cost R15. Great for the kids but not very challenging or technical.
