90 Inch Posted January 21, 2014 Share "upgraded" from Avid to XT last week, was tired of having to pump the rears to get the Avids to work. Fist ride with the new brakes, I went in to a corner at Hoogerkraal a little too fast and grabbed the brakes in reflex to the same extent I would have had to do with the Avids, front wheel locked and I went over the bars - first crash in nearly 3 years. Can't blame the brakes, they did what was asked of them !It does take a while to adapt to brakes that well....brake.
