Hi guys

I'm an average cyclist (despite my nickname) looking for a group to ride with on weekend mornings.

If you know of any clubs etc. in my area please let me know? not sure where to look for this type of thing.

Thanks

Hello.

Your first Option, will be "City Cycling Club" cycling from Edgemead. Check their website. "citycyclingclub.org"

They cater for ALL the options, Road verse MTB.

Easy Short ride on Saturdays and Long ride on Sundays. Start round 07H00 from Edgemead.

You are Welcome to "visit" before looking at Membership.

Second Option, will be the "Outriders" cycling from Table View. Website, "theoutriders.co.za"

Enjoy

Above Average Joe

I live in Edgemead and have been doing a few LSD rides on my own over the weekends. Base training only. Average between 24km/h to 27km/h. Try spending 3 - 4 hrs in the saddle on Saturdays and Sundays.

Send me a PM if you are keen to join. Emphasis is TIME IN THE SADDLE (NB)

Thanks very much gents. F_R_A_I_L the websites were very helpful as the PPA link to seeing cycling clubs on their website doesn't seem to work!

I-felt-the-force will definitely PM you. your pace is pretty much what I look at so am definitely keen.

Thanks a mil

City Cycling Club - check their website. weekend rides/routes are up on the weekly newsletters by Thursdays.

Saturdays are reserved for a club ride where we encourage the group to stay together (this saturday a lot of us will be bike marshaling for the 2 Oceans so the group will be small).

Sundays is a training ride.

on both days we regroup at various points on the route to ensure that all that start return safely.
