I don't normally find it necessary to praise a company when it comes to service as I feel this should be a given if they want to promote their image to the everyday public and keep them coming back to buy more of their product.

 

I must however say that I was really impressed when I sent Jade at coolheat an email regarding my left Dura Ace 7900 STI that has been driving me crazy with the internals of the shifter rattling on every type of road surface.

 

I have done everything in my power to find the cause of this annoyance ,but after reading on the net of other people around the globe having the same problem I decided to enquire from coolheat if this was a known problem to Shimano. I sent the email yesterday.

 

 

This morning I received an email from Jade stating that the replacement STI has already be sent via courier and that it should be at my lbs on Friday.

 

Now to me this is the way companies should respond to customer complaints and will let me think really hard when considering ordering something online again. Not that I would not ever buy from a store like chainreaction cycles again as I know they honour their warranties ,but if I think of the time I would have had to wait to get the shifter replaced I probably would just have left it.

 

So thanks coolheat and here's hoping the replacement does not have the same problem :lol:
